Urvashi Gandhi is the Director and CEO of Samya. She specialises in Human Development and has been working in the development sector for over 23 years on addressing issues of Child Rights, Refugee Rights and Women's Rights. She has extensive experience in developing national and international program strategy and plans; implementing state, national and regional level programs on women’s rights, prevention of gender based violence, sexual and reproductive health rights, adolescent empowerment, engaging men & boys for gender justice and HIV/AIDS. Urvashi has strong skills in developing issue based advocacy, campaigns, curriculum, training programs and IEC materials for various audiences. She is an experienced trainer, has facilitated capacity building programs with CSOs, government departments, youth, marginalised communities and corporate houses on integrating the issue of gender justice and violence against women. Through her previous work experience, she has been part of the Menengage Alliance Global board and the Generation Equality Form.

Ditipriya Ghosh, a Founding Director of Samya. Ditipriya, with an experience of over 30 years in Organisation and Human Development, has worked in varied sectors. Before crossing over to the development sector, she worked in various corporate houses and multinationals for 12 years, looking after talent management/ acquisition, workplace relations, people development and employee engagement. For the last 18 years, she has been working in the development sector, in organisations like Haemophilia Foundation, Parivar Seva Sanstha and Breakthrough contributing to strategic human resource management, organization development and strategic communication. Her focus has been to bring organisation effectiveness through leadership development with a primary emphasis on integrating organisational goals and strategy to individual performance and creating & fostering an environment where employees are committed, engaged and motivated. Her forte is developing organizational and team leadership & management, capability building interventions, building strategic internal communication and building organisational environment that has interaction safety and inclusiveness embedded into its culture. She co-founded Samya Development in 2021 to provide consulting services, technical advisory and project implementation support in the field of social and human development, with a particular focus on the field of women empowerment and gender inclusiveness.

Abhijit Bhat, a financial and account consultant with over 25 years of expertise in navigating the intricacies of corporate compliance and processes governed by diverse laws applicable to companies in India. Throughout his professional journey, he has demonstrated proficiency in managing various audit assessments related to Income Tax Law and Goods and Services Tax Law. He takes pride in playing a pivotal role in ensuring businesses adhere to legal requirements and operate seamlessly within the regulatory framework. As the founder of his own consultancy firm, he provides the above services to a diverse clientele. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for several multinational and Indian companies. In this capacity, he is entrusted to ensure meticulous adherence to all legal compliances as mandated by various laws in India.
